Ladies, Gentlemen und anderweitig vertretene Wesen: Es ist Dienstag, jedes Gebäude und auch die gesamte Umwelt ist offiziell als tödlicher Grill zu betrachten und Deutschland hat bei der WM zumindest das geschafft, was man vor vier Jahren auch schon souverän hinbekommen hat: Den dritten Platz erreichen, den schönsten und tollsten Fußball von allen Nationen zu spielen und am Ende gegen irgendein Land zu verlieren, dass daraufhin von allen gehasst und verachtet wird. Und leider auch durch ganz klaren Beschiss und Bestechung den Pokal mitnehmen kann. Bis Deutschland ihn sich nächstes Mal holt.

Diesmal aber wirklich. Ebenfalls aus dem Resort "Jetzt aber wirklich" stammt die offizielle Ankündigung des Onslaught-Modus für den PC.

...Oder eben auch nicht. Mal wieder ein Fehler in der Berichterstattung - diesmal aber in einer der größten und prominentesten Verlage der Gaming-Welt. Wie der Dice Community-Manager nun richtiggestellt hat, ist die Ankündigung absolut nicht passiert - man arbeite noch daran, ob man den Modus auf den PC bringen will oder nicht. Na toll. Ein Release-Date gibt es dementprechend immer noch nicht, Coop-Freunde können sich aber einen Funken Hoffnung bewahren...

Wir alle wissen: Coop-Modi erfreuen sich spätestens seit dem gigantomanischen Erfolg von Left 4 Dead und Left 4 Dead 2 einer unglaublichen Beliebtheit. In Battlefield 2 hat es ja auch schon Spaß gemacht. Der Inhalt sollte sich zu den Konsolenversionen selber eigentlich nicht großartig verändern: Vier von der Tageszeit und teils vom Layout...

naja eine richtige Bestätigung seitens EA/Dice deiner genannten Quelle gibt es nicht, und diene Quelle hat auch keine Quelle....hmmmm mysteriös

Der Koop Modus klingt recht umständlich, denn BC2 hat keine LAN Unterstützung. Das bedeutet das man nicht einfach mal so mit drei Freunden Coop zocken kann sondern erst einen leeren Server im Internet finden muss. Ich bin mal gespannt wie DICE das lösen will.

Entweder basteln die Lanunterstützung und lassen einen Spieler hosten... (unwahrscheinlich)
oder man stellt mietbare Server zur Verfügung... (unwahrscheinlich)
oder EA stellt selber dedicated Server bereit... (kostet EA extra... dann kostet der Mod auch was^^)

Und was ist eigentlich mit den SPECACT-Kits für PC???

Sie arbeiten dran - im Moment gibt es wohl noch Probleme mit dem Bezahlmodell..
Und wenn der Dice Senior Producer das der Quelle gesagt haben will, dann glaube ich das auch.^^

Das man sich ein riesen langes Statement ausdenkt? Nuja. Das sollte nicht der Maßstab sein für solche Magazine ^^

da wir hier schon von "Dice weiß noch nicht, ob sie Onslaught auf PC bringen oder nicht..."
wie sieht es denn eigentlich nun mit einem Lan Modus aus? Kommt da noch irgendwas oder muss man vergeblichst auf die Addons oder etwa Battlefield 3 sogar hoffen?

Naja - ein LAN-Modus wäre natürlich allein schon wegen der Zerstörung und der dafür benötigten Rechenpower nur schwer zu realisieren.
