Beta Patch Notes

Gameplay Changes

* World travel is now based on hubs and paths. If you’ve never traveled to a particular location before, you must first travel there over land. Once you have visited the new location you will then be able to warp using the hubs.
* Travel is initiated through signposts in the world and not via the world map.
* Antidotes now make you immune to poison effects for a short time as well as curing poison.

Content Changes

* Mythos now has a new logo which can be views on the loading screens!
* New music!
* There are increased character customization options on the character creation screen.
* Humans are now a playable race
* Elves can no longer be found in Stonehill or the surrounding areas. We will miss them!! Satyrs have now taken their place!
* All classes have new skills and abilities.
* New starting armor and weapons for each class.
* All Zone 1 Quests (Greenreach) have been redone.
* Many new areas including the outdoor forest, the beast caves, the cellars and more!
* Skill trees now operate within a tier system. To unlock a tier, you must spend a minimum number of skill points within the tree.
* The Gadgeteer class specializes in tinkering rifles, ammunition, and gadget.
* Stonehill is now actually on a hill! Imagine that!
* A wide variety of new voiceovers for NPCs as well as players has been added.
* New creatures galore! Stingflitters, wolves, bears, beetles, pummelers, bandits, the Urax and others are now waiting to chomp on players.
* New particles and effects for lots of things, including all Pyromancer spells.

Balance Changes

* Vendors have a maximum quality that they can sell. The best items are out in the world.
* The drop rate for gold has been recalculated.
* The drop rate and values for items have been recalculated.
* Monster hit-points and damage have been recalculated

UI Changes

* Totally new UI art
* UI panes flow onto the screen dynamically. Hit ESC or SPACE to clear all open panes.
* Both right and left mouse buttons are able to be bound to abilities/spells from the UI. Left click the left/right mouse button slots (between the health and mana bars) and drag skills in.
