Titanfall players will have some new maps to play with when Respawn Entertainment releases its first DLC titled Expedition sometime in May. The DLC pack will include three maps and will take place after the game's campaign.
The first map "Swampland," pictured above, includes "archaic alien technology" and features numerous trees, a good environment for players who enjoy wallrunning. The map will also include zip vines.
A second map titled "Runoff" will contain a lot of pipes and water. A third map called "Wargames" is based in a training simulator that players are familiar with in the beginning of the game.
Free content will be coming to Titanfall as well, including Wingman LTS, a special 2 vs 2 version of Last Titan Standing. Respawn will also add some new burn cards.
Other features are in development as well, like the ability to remove the HUD, suitable for players who enjoy recording game videos. A spectator mode is also in the works. Soon, users may have the option to join other gamers alike using social media hashtags. More gameplay stats, daily challenges, and titan decal customization are being explored too.
Respawn plans to implement variants of existing modes in the next few weeks and if they prove to be popular, they could become permanent modes in the future.
